Jana Foundation for Family Development Explores Collaboration Opportunities with the Directorate of Education in Dar Saad District

In a significant step towards enhancing women's empowerment and achieving food security, Jana Foundation for Family Development conducted a field visit to the Directorate of Education in Dar Saad District this morning. A meeting was held with local officials to discuss collaboration opportunities for utilizing classrooms in the Al-Musaabeen village as part of the project "Integrating Livestock for Women's Empowerment, Food Security, and Livelihoods."
This project, supported by the organization CARE, aligns with Jana Foundation’s efforts to enhance the capabilities of rural women and achieve food security in marginalized areas by developing the livestock sector.
The meeting was attended by Akram Shahadat, the project coordinator, and Yusuf Sheikh, the monitoring and evaluation specialist from Jana Foundation for Family Development. From the Directorate of Education in Dar Saad, the meeting was attended by Mr. Anis Abdu Ghaleb Al-Hajr, the Director-General of Education in the district.
The meeting discussed ways to collaborate between Jana Foundation for Family Development and the Directorate of Education to provide a suitable learning environment for women in Al-Musaabeen village and utilize classrooms for the project's training activities. The importance of coordinated efforts between government institutions and civil society organizations to achieve the project’s goals of empowering women and increasing livestock productivity in the region was emphasized.
In his remarks, Akram Shahadat expressed his gratitude to the Directorate of Education for their cooperation, confirming that this partnership will significantly contribute to improving the livelihoods of the target families in rural areas and provide training and empowerment opportunities for women in the livestock sector.
Jana Foundation for Family Development continues to implement activities aimed at improving livelihoods and enhancing food security in local communities. The project is expected to contribute to boosting women's capabilities and increasing livestock productivity in Al-Musaabeen village.
